Created By ME art education offers popular ongoing art classes that focus on a variety of skills, techniques and creative media. The curriculum is set up in a fun and exciting format that keeps children motivated. New engaging lessons are continually developed to provide children the opportunity to learn new skills and experiment with different materials all year long!
Created By ME is available to come to you. We can travel to you, your school, church, or community center to make adding the arts to your life as convenient as possible. We know how hectic it can be to fit all that we want for our children in each day or week, so we do the traveling to make it easy on you.
This is where it all began…………………teaching elementary aged children on site after school. This program introduces art & art concepts in a weekly format. We introduce new techniques, learn new skills, learn new vocabulary and expand upon what we learned the week before all while having fun and creating amazing works of art! A wide variety of materials are explored as the children develop their skills and talents. Art history and master artists are also introduced month by month in this class, usually according to their birthday month. For example, in March this year we celebrated Van Gogh's birthday and learned about his life and his art. We even tried our hand at the impasto painting technique. This just scratches the surface of all that is introduced throughout the year in the after school art education program. Contact us to add some variety and excitement to your after school programs. Our after school program has grown by leaps and bounds and is well loved by all (parents, school personnel, and of course, the children). We supply all the high quality materials, the instructor, exciting and varied curriculum. We will also conduct the registration and enrollment. Classes are taught on site in any available room (library, multi-purpose room, science lab, classroom or media center). We will return the room to its original condition at the end of each lesson. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to return visual arts back to your school.
This class is designed for a parent and child to do together. We provide the means for early experimentation with the creative process and show parents what they can do to encourage the creativity at home. We jump right in and play with color & textures and often make some of these early artists' first masterpieces. The goal is for your child to learn to create freely as well as aiding in hand-eye coordination and motor skills. For ages two – three (Always remember to Dress for Mess)
In this class, the fun begins alongside the development of many school readiness skills. We will experiment with a wider variety of art materials while creating wonderful masterpieces. The young artists listen to directions and begin to learn to follow multi-step directions . The lessons aid in the development of fine motor skills, cognitive learning and self-expression while being disguised as simply a whole lot of FUN. For ages three up until kindergarten (Always remember to Dress For Mess)
